Creative AI Play for Practitioners:
Holiday Season Exploration Guide
How about a different approach to this year’s holiday season? Here’s a relaxed approach to self-care with a season of creative exploration rather than strategic planning.
This article has become something of a manifesto for me as we enter 2026 with excitement. There is now an incredible – and far easier way – for health practitioners to share their creative vision. ~ James Burgin
Pro Tip: Yep, I know this is a long post! Pick one thing to explore (chill for the holidays 🧘🏽)
Key Points For Creative AI Play
- Prevents Burnout: Creative AI play shifts focus from obligation to "wonder," helping practitioners maintain curiosity and prevent burnout.
- Sparks New Insights: Explore AI tools for the joy of discovery to generate unexpected insights that strategic business planning cannot reveal.
- Find Joy Again: Creative play reminds practitioners of their original enthusiasm and passion for natural health and the joy of discovery.
- Better Marketing Ideas: Genuine enthusiasm from creative play leads to the most authentic and effective marketing ideas, not obligation.
Why Creative Play Matters (Especially Now)
We’ve spent 2025 building the foundations of AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation), optimising websites, implementing new copywriting clarity, and establishing our authority in AI systems. Important work. Essential work. And also… intense work.
Now, practitioners who thrive in the long term are those who maintain curiosity, joy, and creative energy in their practice.
Creative AI play serves a different purpose than strategic implementation:
- It prevents burnout by shifting from “should” to “wonder”
- It sparks unexpected insights that strategic thinking alone never reveals
- It reminds us why we fell in love with natural health – the exploration, the discovery, the possibility
- It often leads to the best marketing ideas because they come from genuine enthusiasm rather than obligation
🍄 Here's your permission slip…
1. Image Generation: Bringing Your Vision to Life
Holiday-Themed Healing Content
One of the most delightful aspects of modern AI is its ability to create beautiful, unique images from simple descriptions. This opens entirely new possibilities for practitioners who want visual content but lack design skills or big budgets.
Christmas & New Year Wellness Cards:
Imagine sending clients cards with imagery that perfectly captures your approach:
- “Wishing you balanced hormones and holiday harmony” with serene, botanical imagery
- “May your gut be merry and bright” with whimsical digestive health illustrations
- “Here’s to nervous system regulation in 2026” with calming neural pathway art
These aren’t stock photos that scream “generic health business.” They’re unique, branded, and authentically you.
Creative Tools to Explore
The latest image magician is NanoBanana Pro by Google. It is incredibly creative and opens many possibilities for practitioners.
🥇 My new favourite by a looong shot is NanoBanana 🍌
Play prompt: “Create a warm, botanical Christmas card design featuring native Australian plants with the text ‘Wishing you natural wellness this season’ in an elegant, hand-lettered style.”
2. Vision Boards for Your Practice Evolution
What does your dream practice actually look like? Not in words – in images.
This is where AI image generation becomes powerful for visualisation:
- Your ideal clinic or consultation space
- The apothecary you’d love to create
- Workshop or retreat environments you dream of hosting
- Product lines or remedy collections you imagine developing
- Book covers for the health guides you’ll write someday
Creative exercise: Spend 30 minutes generating images of your 2026 dream practice. Don’t limit yourself to “realistic” thinking. What would genuinely light you up?
Example prompts:
- “A serene naturopathic consultation room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking a garden, natural timber finishes, comfortable seating, shelves of herbal remedies, soft natural lighting”
- “A wellness workshop space with circle seating, plants, natural materials, warm lighting, people engaged in learning”
- “An apothecary shelf display featuring beautiful glass bottles of flower essences, organised by colour, botanical labels, soft lighting”
3. Creative Resources for Client Empowerment
Children's Health Education Illustrations
If you are working with families, AI can generate delightful educational imagery:
- Friendly gut bacteria characters explaining digestive health
- Illustrated guides to immune system support for kids
- Visual stories about healthy eating that engage rather than lecture
- Anatomical diagrams that aren’t intimidating
This type of content not only helps your current clients but also becomes shareable, authority-building material that positions you as the go-to family wellness expert.
Infographics Make the Invisible Visible
It’s now possible to produce infographics with creative illustrations and accurate typography, in any style you can dream up. Some examples:
- Illustrations for protocols you prescribe
- Lifestyle advice
- Explanations of body processes or metabolism
- How probiotics work
This is a fantastic opportunity to make invisible visible for effective client education.
Social Content That Actually Reflects Your Practitioner Life
Let’s be honest – much of health practitioner social media is either overly clinical or generically inspirational. What if you could create content that was authentic, relatable, and visually distinctive?
Ideas to explore:
- “Practitioner Holiday Survival Kit” imagery (humorous, honest)
- Visual representations of the practitioner journey (the messiness and magic)
- Behind-the-scenes practice life (illustrated, not photographed – for privacy)
- Wellness memes that don’t feel cringey because the imagery is original
4. Audio & Voice Exploration: NotebookLM and Beyond
NotebookLM: Your Research Companion
If you haven’t discovered NotebookLM yet, the holidays are a great time to explore. You are in for a treat – and it’s free!. This Google tool transforms static documents into interactive conversations.
What makes it extraordinary for practitioners:
- Upload clinical papers and have conversations with your new favourite ‘research team’
- Feed it your workshop notes and generate audio discussions you can listen to while cooking holiday meals
- Create summaries of the year’s learning in podcast format
- Add anonymised, transcribed client consultations to get an insightful take on what you discussed
- Generate different perspectives on health topics you’re passionate about
Holiday play idea: Upload your favourite clinical papers from 2025 and ask NotebookLM to create an audio “year in review” discussion. Listen while wrapping presents or preparing meals.
Why this matters: We consume vast amounts of written clinical information. Being able to process it auditorily while engaging in other tasks creates learning and discovery opportunities that fit practitioners’ lives.
Voice Cloning for Client Resources
Tools like ElevenLabs now allow you to clone your own voice for various applications. The ethical implications are significant (which is why we’re exploring, not implementing yet), but the possibilities are fascinating:
Potential explorations:
- Record and clone your voice for guided meditations (gift for existing clients?)
- Create personalised audio year-ahead wellness intentions
- Generate multiple language versions of key health messages
- Produce realistic voice AI audio versions of blog posts in your actual voice
Important note: This is exploration territory. If you create anything for public use, full disclosure about AI voice generation is advised. Private experimentation helps you understand what’s possible and what feels aligned with your values.
AI-Generated Soundscapes and Music
Tools such as Suno, AiMusicGen.ai and Udio can generate custom music and soundscapes from text prompts.
Creative experiments:
- Generate consultation room background music to perfectly matche your practice energy
- Create meditation soundscapes for specific intentions
- Develop signature audio branding for videos or podcasts
- Explore how different sonic environments affect the therapeutic space
This isn’t about replacing professional music composition. It’s about understanding how AI can support the multisensory experience of healing work.
5. Content Transformation To Build Visibility
Sharing your ideas with authority and engagement is more important than ever. And now it’s much easier with the simple creative tools we have.
Your service pages and blog become a vital resource for sharing your practice ideas and healing wisdom, helping your audience understand the real value of your work and motivating them to book.
Here are a few ways to build your confidence and momentum.
NotebookLM and Remixing Your Wisdom
The Seasonal Wellness Series
Take content you’ve already created and transform it into something fresh:
12 Days of Wellness Series:
- Each day features one wellness principle
- AI generates unique imagery for each concept
- Creates shareable Instagram carousel or email series
- Positions you as the practitioner who makes health accessible and beautiful
Holiday Recipe Cards:
- Take your favourite immune-supporting recipes
- Generate beautiful, illustrated recipe cards
- Add practitioner tips and modifications
- Create downloadable gifts for your community
Transforming Treatment Philosophies into Art
You have unique perspectives on health and healing. What if those philosophies became beautiful visual quotes or artwork?
Example process:
- Articulate your core treatment philosophy in 2-3 sentences
- Ask AI to interpret this as visual art
- Generate multiple styles until something resonates
- Use as website imagery, social media, or even printed materials
Sample prompt: “Create an artistic representation of the concept ‘healing happens when we align body wisdom with practical support’ – incorporate botanical elements, subtle energy, and grounded earthiness in watercolour style.”
This becomes signature imagery that’s uniquely yours, not generic stock photos used by everyone else.
6. Sharing Your Practice Foundations
Your origin story is meaningful and relevant to anyone who contemplates connecting with you or engaging your professional services.
There are many ways to tell your story:
- About page
- Service pages
- Programs
- Articles and blogs
Heritage and History: Flower Essence & Healing Art
Inspired by my background using Bach Flower Remedies, flower essences, and the Flower Essence Society’s work, this opens up a meaningful creative exploration.
This also supports my research into the power of Metaphysical SEO.
Artistic Interpretations of Essences
What if you could visualise the energetic signature of different flower essences?
Prompts might include:
- “Create an artistic interpretation of the energetic quality of Rescue Remedy – protective, calming, centring – in abstract watercolour”
- “Visualise the essence of Rock Rose – courage in the face of terror – as botanical art with energetic overlay”
- “Generate oracle-style card imagery for Bach Flower Remedies with symbolic representation of each essence’s healing quality”
This connects your clinical knowledge with creative expression in ways that weren’t previously accessible without commissioned artwork.
Educational Resources That Honour Traditions
The herbal and flower essence traditions are rich with wisdom but often lack modern, accessible visual education materials.
Creative exploration:
- Generate illustrated guides to herb and essence selection
- Create visual decision trees for remedy choices
- Design educational posters for each herb or essence family
- Develop botanical art that honours both plant and energetic properties
This type of creative work could contribute to the broader flower essence community while maintaining the integrity of traditional knowledge.
7. New Creative Tools To Explore
The Nano Banana Adventure: AI Video for Absolute Beginners
Since we have mentioned Nano Banana specifically, let’s address it directly. This tool represents the newest wave of accessible AI video creation.

Looking Ahead to 2026
What’s beautiful about creative exploration is that it often reveals directions strategic planning never would.
The practitioner who plays with image generation might discover a signature visual style that becomes their brand identity.
The practitioner who experiments with NotebookLM might realise audio content is their natural medium.
The practitioner who generates healing art might uncover a new way to explain complex health concepts.
These discoveries don’t happen through strategic planning. They emerge through curious play.
So consider this your official permission to approach the holidays differently this year, not as a time to grind on business development, but as a season for creative restoration through playful exploration.
Your Holiday Challenge
Simple version: Pick one AI tool. Explore for one hour. Share one discovery.
Extended version:
- Week 1: Image generation exploration
- Week 2: Audio/voice experiments
- Week 3: Content transformation play
- Week 4: Share your favourite discovery and how it might influence 2026
No pressure version: Ignore all of this, rest completely, and come back refreshed in January.
All approaches are valid. All are worthy. All are welcome.

The Thriving Practitioners Facebook group is the perfect place to share your creative experiments:
- Post images you’ve generated
- Share audio clips you’ve created

Our Extraordinary Moment in History
We’re at a new, creative moment in history. The tools that are becoming available would have seemed like magic even five years ago. As natural health practitioners, we have the opportunity to shape how these tools serve healing work.
But that shaping happens best when we approach it with curiosity rather than pressure, with play rather than performance, with “I wonder…” rather than “I should…”
This holiday season, I invite you to reflect. To explore. To play. To discover.
And then share those discoveries with a community of practitioners navigating this evolution together.
Here’s to creative restoration, unexpected insights, and the joy of discovering what’s possible.
See you in 2026 – refreshed, inspired, and ready to thrive.
And of course, wherever you are, in Bondi, Sydney, or online, let’s catch up for a creative conversation. I would love to connect. 💜
